I've been asked by some friends my painting process, so here's the quick bare bones way I do it. The piece shown was done in 2012 as part of an Adv. Materials and techniques class required in our Sophomore year. Enjoy

Character Concept

 

One of our first projects in concept art was to create a hero and a villain character concept. I kind of did the wrong thing and ran with only ONE side of the project, taking it from sketches to a full colored character rendering, all the way to a three dimensional character maquette (the later of which the professor doesn't really know about) Hopefully I can expand more on environments as well as character designs.

Here's to the future

Decided to do this for a more professional site while still maintaining twitter and tumblr. Professors from school have been encouraging us to network so I guess it's time to start. Let's see, I'm about to be a rising senior and PCA&D In PA, illustration major into concept art, character design, painting and music. This will be used as a basis of contact for any possible professional work.
